Shiva International Residential School stands on fifteen acres of enclosed valley at Chandpur, about eight kilometres from Bilaspur, in the foothills of the Shivalik range. Established in 2024 by the Shiva Educational Society and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, the School educates boys and girls from Nursery to Class X, with Class XI scheduled to open in the 2027–28 session.

The School was founded with the aim of providing the best possible education, with equal emphasis on the academic, physical, creative and personal development of every child. Its purpose is to help each student grow into a complete and well-rounded human being, equipped with the knowledge, confidence, discipline and values needed to meet the demands of life and compete with students from the finest schools across the country.

Education at the School is therefore not limited to what happens in the classroom. Students are encouraged to think for themselves, to understand what they learn rather than simply reproduce it, and to develop their interests through sport, music, art, dance, activities and the many experiences that make up school life. At the same time, importance is attached to the simple things that shape a child’s conduct and character, such as good manners, punctuality, honesty, responsibility and respect for others.
